About Me

Logan Futej is a filmmaker and photographer from Reading, PA. His passion for taking pictures started early when his dad gave him a Nikon EM Film SLR camera and it was love at first sight. After acting in junior high, one notable role being the father of Popeye, Poopdeck Pappy, Logan realized he was meant to be behind the camera. He started making films with his friends who were skateboarders on the east coast, followed by short documentaries and action films. Eventually he decided to go to school to study Film and Photography, where he made numerous shorts on 16mm and digital. After school, he taught film, waited tables, and directed a feature documentary about his grandparents who were drug dealers through the 60’s and 70’s. A short portion of the film screened at the Cannes Short Film Corner, and the feature premiered in competition at Marbella International Film Festival. Since then Logan has served as a Director, Producer, Shooter, and Editor for numerous production companies, and two digital agencies working with a wide range of clients including Adidas, Magnum Ice Cream, Frutarre, TresEmme, McDonald’s, Lipton, and Microsoft.

Logan currently lives in Seattle with his wife and 3 cats. He loves movies, running through the mountains, snowboarding, and vegan cupcakes.
